My new sequined eagle ain't going to applique himself on the back of a jacket any time soon! I'm inclined to think that this, this, or this might be the man for the job.

You're probably right, but they look like arrows. I'm gonna go with arrows.
Looking at this again, since the eagle is missing a talon, he should represent the D.A.V.
