What I really, really, really want is a Fjallraven Kanken backpack in Uncle Blue or Purple (OR BOTH!?), but that seems about a thousand steps in the wrong direction in terms of sophistication.
Now, I'm hauling all of my shit around in this Sanna Annukka tote from Rachel. At first, I wasn't particulary jazzed about it; it was all bright and website-bearing and big. But, since, the silkscreen has faded a bit, and it's grown on me.I'm also pretty madly in love with the following:

I KNOW!!!!! I thought this year maybe I'd buy a real live leather bag, and be a real live girl, but I think it's the prices that are preventing that from happening...and I DIG that Rachel Comey muff-in (my new word)! though I'm holding out for one of her bags from next season...if I have $$$ by then.......

i know what you mean about getting a big girl bag. i finally bought myself a leather marc jacobs last year with my work bonus. so worth it. although you can get like 30 cute totes for the price of one leather bag....
