As imperative as it is that I get more stripes into my closet, namely in the form of the poof-sleeved leotard, I really am not in the financial position to purchase a stranger's used body suit for an exorbitant $26. Thank God this one sold on etsy before I succumbed to its stripes.

Why do these exist? Part III

I would like to argue two things:

1. These are disgusting. The fact that it looks like the model has just rolled around in mud is disgusting. The fact that the colorway is entitled 'Smart Brown / Midnight Blue' is disgusting. The fact that they are $78.00 is disgusting.

2. The shoes are awesome.

If I had to marry an Etsy housewares shop, I think I'd choose this one:

High Street Market has a really nice selection of classic, basic home items. Things are a bit on the $$$$ side, but, really, isn't milk glass worth more in heaven than money? It's quite possible that I so adore this shop because many of its contents I already own. Indeed, I, quite literally, picked up that exact Fire King planter yesterday at the VDO.

Procrastinating (browsing Etsy) as usual...I came across this clever bookend (paper weight, juggling accessory, etc) idea and loved it! Etsy seller Pillowhappy stitched adorable little pillows and filled them with sand (or rice, kernels, beans etc..) and the result is the most charming little pair of bookends! What a simple way to put an extra '!' on your shelf.

Our New Couch! (I'm officially a real adult)

I just ordered this piece yesterday from Urban Outfitters I had in mind the perfect couch, and I totally envisioned clean lines and and a sturdy wooden frame like this one. Luckily, J loved it too. This bergere couch is 99.9% perfect...(my only preference would be brass ferrules on the ends of the legs and button tufting on the cushions). I love it! It's so Mad Men! I'm still rolling some pillow ideas around in my head, please let me know if you have any suggestions.
